Welcome family, friends and anyone else who has stumbled into our little speck on the world wide web.
As often as possible you will find updates on the two wonder boys, and puppy princess extraordinaire. Check back often!
I will start on a few little updates on the family Walsh!
Yesterday Brett turned the big 3-7, of course we all know he doesn't look a day over 36 ;) kidding. He's fabulous, what a spring chicken I have! Unfortunately since he is leaving town for 2 weeks we spent the whole day preparing for my stab at single motherhood. Eek!
Brodie is his usual wonderful self. He makes Cooper laugh so hard everyday. Just the epitome of big brother. Gymnastics has finished til Fall, or ever again. And right now we are halfway through his cooking class. Which is such a great experience for him! So far they have made fruit salad, french toast and sandwiches. Can't wait to see what the little chefs will make next week. Each recipe also has some craft to go with it. For instance their sandwich making day they first made ants out of egg cartons and pipe cleaners, sandwiches and apple slices for a picnic, ate outside then played in a playground. What a great idea! nursery school will end in June, but he'll be going back 2 mornings a week starting in September. He is so amazing at tennis and today he was swinging the softball bat too and htiting a few of them!
The deliriously happy Mr. Cooper is doing great on his chamomile. Quick background for those who don't know, Cooper has reflux. It wasn't terribly serious but it was silent which made it tricky to diagnose. Meaning it went up the esophogus but then back down. he didn't spit up very often but was very bloated and could only sleep in hour or so spurts. The pediatrician prescribed zantac which I was soooo sad to give him but it made a huge difference. After a month of zantac I decided to take him to a homeopathic doctor. Who instead precribed chamomile. It works great! he is sleeping so much better, he isn't bloated, does not spit up at all and now actaully enjoys playing on his tummy! I love the Doctor we found and we'll all be seeing him from now on.
Miss Mona has been on a vegetarian kibble for a month now and we've never seen her look better. Finally a solution to her allergies! She is also on an omega 3-6-9 supplement and her coat is so soft and shiny :)
And me, well I'm the same as always. Product aware (synonymous with paranoid) and doing my pilates everyday and crafting up a storm! I just got on the Telus volleyball team for corporate challenge, and the tennis clubs opened this week so when Brett gets back from Nfld I can go get my membership :)
So don't expect this much text in posts to come, I had to stay up way past my bedtime to type this all out! Instead pictures will probably replace the words!
Thanks for coming, see you again soon now y'hear?
My boys, what a handsome bunch.
I don't know what I would so without this stroller!
What would Mona do without this stroller! She might be forced to walk the ENTIRE way!

Me and smiley in the sling.
