He put this together today himself. He put on a ball cap and said look I look just like Ralphie from the Magic Schoolbus! these pictures are Brodie contorting his body and telling me what letter he is. LOL can you guess some of these?

Comedy of errors

I jsut can't seem to get anything right the lat 24 hours. Had to use a whole package of transfer sheets to make Brodie's space feltboard (see http://sew-crafty.blogspot.com/). I jsut sent an email to a wack of people inviting them to post ocmments, but thankfully Brandy pointed out I actually gave them all admin rights LOL. whoops :)

the only thing I got right was what we're going to do with Mona while we go to the Tyrell museum. So I booked her a haircut at the best named place int he book....Jurassic Bark! hahahahaha ahhh sucha good name.

Okay! now that was the bestest hairdresser ever! She had her hair straight but she has a bit of curl in her hair. She new exactly how to handle my hair and I was so pleased with the cut and that she tok 2 inches off all around but i didn't lose much length, but she did manage to put a big dent in the amount of old dyed hair I'm trying to grow out and cut off. She figurs one more trim and it should be the last of it :) She jsut moved here from nfld a few months ago so I am sticking with her! lol I'm even going to take Brodie there for his next cut!

I didn't take a front one because all the ones I tried I looked fugly lol (not that the front picture up there is anything to call home about ...). So you must settle with the back of my head. ha!

Picless in Edmonton

things around here have been much too busy to take any pictures! Cooepr was sick for a week (almost the whole time Brett was gone) and was having a bm after everything he ate. So that meant changing poopy diapers during the night...all day...I really thought it was never going to end! But finally it did and we're all catching up on our sleep.

Volleyball season is fast approaching so we had a practice yesterday followed by a bbq at our house. Only 6 of us were able to make it yesterday but we still had a great practice and fun bbq. I was so stuffed last night!

Boot day

Brett is home, YAY! He got in yesterday at about 1am. He's exhausted and so happy to be home, he was working night shift at Hibernia so his system is a bit off.

birthday parties galore!

Yesterday we had 2 back to back birthday parties, Kaelie's 6th birthday and Gabe's 2nd birthday. We had a great time at both but were sure wiped out by the end. I was so wiped out I didn't even take pictures at the second!

latchkey wife

Brett's been in Newfoundland since Tuesday morning and I'm beat! the boys have been great, unfortunately we popped out for a bit this afternoon and came home to Mona squinting in one eye. So off to the vet we go. Turns out she has another eye ulcer. this time int he other eye. This time we at least caught it very very early so she has a whole new series of antibiotics. We'll go back in aweek to chekc how it is. But let me tell you ahving a baby in a sling with a poopy diaper, and a preschooler singing about space whiel the assisten and vet are pouring in fluorescent liquied into your dogs eye with the ligths off is sooooo much fun. Just adds on to the big barf on Brodie's leg Cooepr had while in the Costco shopping cart and being swarmed by wasps outside of Value Village. I am so glad the boys are sleeping...now I can jsut do absolutely nothing!

Oh and I managed to catch chompikins on camera :)

Stained deck

Here is the deck with one coat of stain. We probably have 1 coat for sure on everything left to do and probably a 3rd on the flat surfaces.

Playmates

Brodie plays so well with Cooper and invites him to join the fun! The latest game is Brodie drives around on a ride on toy and lets cooper almost catch him, when Cooper gets close the both shreik with glee and Brodie takes off with Cooper crawling like mad to catch up to him! Its very cute...although a little loud!



Brodie is absolutely amazing at I Spy books. He can find most of the objects all by himself!

Smashed potato

Cooper is a very interesting dinner guest.... First he went to town demolishing his mashed potato. Then he styled his hair with it lol.

Chomp chomp

Cooper has HUGE front teeth coming in. This shot only catches a glimpse of their massiveness! lol He is sooo smiley now its so funny to see these chompers coming at you...makes me a little nervous sometimes! And I love how the new top teeth make thme look like such thugs! I still rememeber Brodie's pics form the same age. They look like Boxers!

Brodie enjoying some underwear playtime after Juanita, Keith, Cole and Erin left after lunch. We set up his big track on the table so lil Cooperzilla wouldn't tear it apart.

I made this little "camping belt" for Brodie since he is always trying to carry around so much stuff! I ended up making a matching shoulder bag since this still wasn't enough room!

This was a little craft we did last week. Brodie loves Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (kids story book) so this is downstairs in his room now. We made it out of foam, felt and cardboard.

Brodie , the cars and the sandbox

Brodie is very happy with his new addition to his car collection Chick Hicks from the movie Cars. He loves to race around his sandbox creating speedbumps, and volcanoes for the cars to crash through lol.



When I was sitting out there with him I realized how much the trees over our yard have really grown since we've lived here!
