Giant Invasion!

The people of Railway village screamed and ran for cover as the 2 giants frolicked, giggled and read stories in their town square. An eyewitness claims to have seen the smaller giant eat the passengers of a small freight train. Stay tuned for updates on the disaster!

Marshmallows!

Somehow I completely forgot how sticky marshmallows are! Tonight after a yummy dinner we headed outside for some playtime and roasting marshmallows. Yummy, sticky fun!

Last of the summer outdoor fun it seems! Every week it gets colder and colder yet we still have a blast in the backyard :) (stupid hyperlinking...)

Another Brodie haircut

I noticed today how insanely long Brodie's hair had grown. So chop chop! He visited the bathroom salon. :) Now if only Coopers could grow another inch or so so it curls down instead of straight up like David Hasselhoff!

Brodie's First Bike

Last night we got Brodie his first big kid bike. He is so great at riding it the people t the store couldn't believe it was his first one! He is pretty excited to say the least :) We weren't sure so we got a bike with training wheels, however after about 5 minutes Brodie asked if we can take them off LOL. We'll see this week if we take them off or not...He obviously has inherited his dad's gift for biking!

Elbow grease

We are in the destruction phase of our mini kitchen reno! Here is a before and during picture. We will hopefully have an "after" picture at the end of the week! The cupboard door is already off in the first one. We took it off ages ago to see what open cupboards would be like and never put it back on LOL.

Its so hard doing renos with kids, every night after all the scraping / wallpaper removal / wall puttying we need to load everything back into the kitchen so its fully cleaned, safe and functional for the kids the next day! Tonight is more mudding, moving some electrical. click to enlarge photos.
