Easter 2008

After a mostly sleepless night (Coopers getting his last set of molars) we woke up bright and early to hunt for eggs! Cooper was a bit grumpy at first and was devastated he couldn't immediately eat chocolate that he found...but started to have a little bit more fun towards the end. :)Both boys got a little plush puppy in their baskets...they are both really into dogs right now. Brodie named his SugarPie. (awwwww) and Cooper adopted the name Roughie from one of brodies other dogs :) Its all about the tennis headband these days lol.

Tysons Bday

We had so much fun at a gymnastics bday for Tyson this past weekend. now Brodie wants to do it for his!

We bought Cooper a new hat...very pricy indeed...Who needs toys...showercaps and mambo music will do!

Snow days

Brodie decided he wanted to be buried after the big dump a few days ago.

Last playdate with Emma

We were lucky enough to squeeze in one last playdate with Emma before they moved to Ontario. Brodie and Cooper had a blast :) Now they hav started emailing back and forth which is just way too cute.

2 tired boys

After a long busy week..and having Kaeli and Regan over in the afternoon..by bedtime these were my two very tired monkeys :)

Emma's Goodbye Party

My poor little boy with a broken heart :( He will miss her a lot. She will be back to visit so hopefully we will still get to see them when they come back ..and they may even move back in a few years.

The Volcano

Here is the volcano at the papier mache stage. Inside is actually a big cardboard box. Then I wrapped chicken wire around the box to make it bulkier and to create the crater. It was funny for a couple of days later you could hear the wire and papier mache shifting so it would creak and groan often..very authentic sounding LOL.
Here is Brodie inside after the mod podge. I thought it would be more fun to tissue paper and mod podge then to paint. Cooper is thrilled with it too...but he won't let me take a picture of him in it HAHA. Overall a super fun project an dthe boys love it! (I will however NOT be doing any papier mache-ing or mod podging for a long long time.
