Today was our first day at soccer. Katherine managed to find a great program for 2-12 year olds in her area. The coach has been coaching for 20 years, from Jamaica and rasied in the UK. his son is a pro soccer player in Belgium. Pretty cool! Brodie and Sebastian had a great time. What I didn't expect was the expectation of doing it with him. So if Brodie did a fan drill, guess who else did a fan drill? Yup, me and tom running alongside Sebastian and brodie from cone to cone! I really should have eaten breakfast!
They did lots of drills, and lots of ball handling. I thought the coach was really great. There was only 3 kids today because the coach forgot it was Canada day and hadn't called people to cancel. So I imagine next Saturday there will be more, and even more kids the following weekend since we'll be camping this coming weekend. The program goes all year round and he uses a school gm over the winter months.

what kind of soccer league is it? kaeli says she's going to play indoor this winter, that will be definitely be different than dancing!
