We had a great long weekend! We drove down to Drumheller on Saturday to go to the Tyrell Museum of Paleontology. While we visited the museum we dropped Mona off to get a haircut! The museum was fabulous and we had a blast, Monas haircut was great and the drive wasn't too bad at all. After the museum we continued on to Canmore so Brett could help his dad with the Highland games the next day. Auntie Erin and Uncle Jas were in town too to help so the kids got lots of playtime in with everyone. I think Auntie Erin and Uncle Jas deserve playmate of the year awards....not that kind of playmate. Jeez get your mind out of the gutter!
I got a chance to visit with my friend Christine (so great to see that broken leg has heealed!) and otherwise we just played at nan and Grandads. Unfortunately the boys decided sleep was for the weak this weekend. So both Brett and I are completely exhausted and can't wait to sleep in our own beds tonight.
Brodie started a great rock collection while we were away and already has Jasper, Geodes, Agate, Pyrite, Calcite, Slate...all kidsn of stuff! He's really excited about them which is great!
